Col Lawton’s debut on the label is a fact. After plenty of demo submissions we finally agreed on the two-tracker You Can’t Take It with on the flip Walk To Your Own Beat. The latter title is exactly what Col does. He’s been ‘all-in’ for the past 2 to 3 years broadening his network, improving his skills in the studio and as a dj/labelowner, being actively involved in the scene. He’s got a broad range covered with his tracks although most could be easier categorized as ‘sounds like Naked Music’ (which are his own words). We’ll let you decide

Our last artist EP of the year comes from Atlanta based producer & dj Tito Mazzetta, who is a true lover of the unknown. He loves to take his listeners on a truly profound experience through mind and soul. He’s had previous releases on Up To Loft, Q/Q, Miaw & Conceptual Records. We welcome him on the label with his two track Give It EP. Another release that’s less ‘old skool house’ and situated more in the new ‘deep’ segment.

Italy, Milan based producer and dj Criss Koreyhas been producing since 2010 and has slowly been building his career with releases out on Kaleido, Pogo House, Groove Is Our Business and Different Attitudes. Most notable his Raw Speak track on GIOB made some serious househeads look his way and fantastic support followed. It’s with great pleasure we welcome Criss on Gents & Dandy’s with a kick ass sounding 2 track EP entitled The Rhodes.

Maxime Mattelaer aka Max Telaer is a young gun from Brussels we discovered by randomly surfing the world wide web. He’s all set to make his debut on Gents & Dandy’s with a 3 track EP, Secret 49′.

The title track is a grooving deep house jam, with lovely chord stabs and Rhodes keys, which will heat up any cold basement party in a flash. ‘Looseness’ is a sweaty dancefloor hustle: uptempo with a great vibe and haunting rhythm. Nobody Knows (You Know) takes us even deeper with some filtered chords that keep looping over in an entrancing way.

All the tracks of this EP have been premiered on Redbullelektropedia, Tanzgemeinshaft and Spira Music, which means you can stream the EP in full length!

Past friday this release became available as promo at Traxsource, and was included in the Weekend Weapons chart at #46. Monday morning show us that Mo Slowtion is also included in Essential Deep chart at #6. Yes!

And there’s even more support to report. Second track on the EP, Most Valued, which was premiered by Gouranga, made it into the NuDisco Essentials chart at #9. Double whammy. Happy chap here.

Hailing from Krefeld, Germany producer (David) Platzdasch makes his Gents & Dandy’s debut with his Two Decades EP. The title, and material reflects on his 20 years of involvement in dance music culture.

Platzdasch’s musical history began in 1996 with the release of the project Silk City on MORE and continued with several solo releases partially under his alias David Martin. Followed by further records in the late 90’s on Honolulu United, Draft Recordings and Blaou Sounds.

In 2000 he founded Soul Glow together with Thomas Staats. Their work culminated in the release of the album We Come Along on Draft Recordings in 2003. After some years of a break in 2014 he got back into the game and just had a track released on a VA 12″ by Masterworks Music.

Slip forward to current day, and Platzdasch presents some of his strongest, and most honest work to date. 4 cuts of deep, sophisticated house music with their foundations set in the past, but their eyes firmly on the future. This EP has been split up in two, and these are the first two tracks.
